Chapter 8 Trouble-shooting
In this Chapter we introduce and discuss a list of small inconveniences that can occur
during the use of the machine.
NOTE : Please contact the assistance service should the problem be different from the
ones described or if the problem should persist even after the operators work.
8.1
Qualification of the operator
USER
The user can securely use the machine only after having carefully read and understood the
recommendations and instructions described in this manual.
MAINTENANCE OPERATOR
To be able to work on the machine, the maintenance operator must be qualified and
authorised and must have read and understood the recommendations and instructions
described in this manual.
INCONVENIENT
CPM SERIES
POSSIBLE CAUSE REMEDY
The spiral looses speed The head belts are loose
Tighten the belts as explained
in paragraph 7.3
The bowl looses speed The bowl belts may be loose
Tighten the belts as explained
in paragraph 7.4
The buttons of control
panel do not respond to any
impulse
The automatic switches could be
blown
A thermal protection could have
stopped the machine to protect the
electric system
Control and reset the
automatic switch, after having
checked the cause that made it
click.
Reset the thermal, after having
checked what caused it to
overheat
The timers and
described in paragraph 5.1
of the CPM series do not
control the mixing time.
The selector in paragraph 5.1
may be in the position.
The timers are in the zero time
position.
The timers are broken
Position the selector in
the position .
Set the timers with the desired
time.
Replace the timers
