Introduction to Widescreen Digital Projectors (16:10)
The widescreen resolution
(1,280 x 800) with its 16:10 format
corresponds with the resolution of
most notebook computers. This
means that the projector can
project the exact contents of the
screen without adaptation.
Features:
l The WXGA resolution offers 30%
more area in comparison to XGA
resolution (1,024 x 768)
l With the same screen height,
approx. 25% more information
can be displayed across the
width. This means that more
Excel columns can be displayed
without having to shift the
screen
Introduction to widescreen digital projectors (16:10)
l WXGA digital projectors can
be used as a so-called
"crossover product" in business,
as well as a home cinema
projector
l The 16:10 format corresponds
more with a person's field of
vision than the classic XGA
resolution with its 4:3 format.
This means that people can
absorb information in the
16:10 format more easily
