Mini Coyote v2 – User Manual

General Features

Information Display

The display of the Mini Coyote v2 initially shows alerts in a pop-up window that fills the whole

screen and then reduces in size to display in the bottom half of the screen. In minimised mode,

you will always have the current speed limit, your GPS speed and the battery level displayed in the

top half of the screen.

Speed indications on screen:

Mini Coyote v2 permanently displays your current speed. This is the GPS calculated

speed

Mini Coyote v2 permanently displays the current speed limit in a speed limit panel, in the top left-

hand corner of the screen. It also displays the name of the road you are driving on (when

available)

Speed limit panel when you are driving under the speed limit (± limit threshold, see

Menu → Road Safety → Speed Limit → Speed Limit Alerts).

Coyote Scouts Coyote‟s key aim is to contribute to road safety by encouraging Scouts (users) to respect the rules of the road. Each Scout can communicate the presence of traffic incidents and / or live mobile cameras to the Coyote Community by the simple press of a button. So each and every scout is constantly contributing to the quality and reliability of the data transmitted to the Community.

Driving Menu → Send wrong speed Mini Coyote v2 allows you to indicate a wrong speed limit on the road section that you are travelling on. Please adjust the speed limit by pressing the or button and when you have reached the correct value, press the button. The correction will be sent to our servers and be corrected on the database. Driving Menu → Send Fixed Camera Mini Coyote v2 allows you to report a fixed camera on the road section you that you are currently on.
