GeneralSafetyInstructions
1. ForHouseholdOutdoorUseOnly–DONOTuseindoorsorinanytypeofenclosedarea suchasagarage,
shed or breezeway. Keep clear of trees and shrubs. The grills are not intended for installation in or on
recreationalvehicles,portabletrailers,boatsoranyothermovinginstallation.Notforcommercialuse.
2. The area surrounding your new grill should be kept clean and free from flammable liquids and other
combustiblematerialssuchasmops,ragsorbrooms,aswellassolvents,cleaningfluids,andgasoline.
3. Neveruse thegrill inwindy conditions.Iflocatedinaconsistentlywindyarea(oceanfront,mountaintop,
etc.)awindbreakwillberequired.Alwaysadheretothespecifiedclearanceslisted.
4. Donotleavethegrillunattendedwhilecooking.
5. Keepchildrenandpetsawayfromhotgrill.DONOTallowchildrentouseorplaynearthegrill.
6. Never attempt to repair or replace any part of the grill yourself unless specifically recommended in this
manual.Allotherservicesshouldbeperformedbyaqualifiedservicetechnician.
7. Neverleanover anopengrill. Donotplace clothing orotherflammable materialonor nearthegrill. Do
notwearloose‐fittingclothesorlongsleeveswhileusingthegrillassomefabricscanbehighlyflammable.
8. Have an ABC fire extinguisher accessible. Never attempt to extinguish a grease fire with water or other
liquids.
9. Never use aluminum foil to line the grill racks or the drip trays, this can alter airflow for proper
combustionandalsobuildupheatinthecontrolareacausingtheknobsandignitertomelt.
10. Whenusingthegrill,donot touchthe grillrack,burnergrate,or immediatesurroundings astheseareas
becomeextremelyhotandcancauseburns.Alwaysuseacoveredhandwhenopeningthegrillhoodand
onlydososlowlytoallowheatandsteamtoescape.
11. Nevermovethegrillwhenhot.
12. DONOTusewhileundertheinfluenceofdrugsoralcohol.
13. DO NOT grill without the drip tray in place, hot grease could leak downward and produce a fire or an
explosion.Driptrayshouldbepushedallthewaytotheracklocatedjustunderthegrill.
14. Grease is extremely flammable. Let hot grease cool down before attempting to handle or dispose of it.
Thedriptrayshouldbecleanedandfreeofgreaseonaregularbasis.
