G Additional Requirements
Short-Circuit Protection
Warning
This product relies on the building's installation for short-circuit (overcurrent) protection. Ensure
that a fuse or circuit breaker no larger than 120 VAC, 15A U.S. (240 VAC, 10A international) is
used on the phase conductors (all current-carrying conductors).

Installation into an Equipment Rack
When operating the unit in an equipment Rack, take the following precaution:
• Make sure the ambient temperature around the unit (which may be higher than the room
temperature) is within the limit specified for the unit.
• Make sure there is sufficient airflow around the unit.
• Make sure electrical circuits are not overloaded - consider the nameplate rating of all the
connected equipment, and make sure you have over current protection.
• Make sure the equipment is properly grounded.
• Make sure no objects are placed on top of the unit.
