4.2.3.8 Selection of magnetic compass

With this adjustment it is to determine if a magnetic compass is connected to this ap-

plication.

-- Switch 4 of the DIP--Switch (B23) into the upper position.

-- The display shows MAGn.

If this display--information blinks, then it is selected and the distribution unit is

prepared to support a magnetic compass.

-- By operating the push button B22 (right side) the selection is aborted. The display

information does not blink.

-- After adjustment, the switch 4 has to be set into lower position.

If a magnetic compass is connected to the Distribution Unit and

the setting is already performed, then the Operation Unit recog-

nized the magnetic compass automatically.

But, if an external sensor as the magnetic sensor is discon-

nected (de--installation), a POWER OFF/POWER ON procedure

has to be performed at the Operation Unit (as a RESET).
