TTC: High Noise Bone Conduction Headset
The Cobalt TTC bone conduction headset with a dual bone
conduction temple speakers, features a behind head support
headset and directional noise reduction boom mic.
Use with hearing protection ear plugs as a lighter
and less heat stress alternative to using muff headsets.
Wear under hard hat or helmet.
Tactical teams can wear with kevlar helmets.
Wear under tight fitting plastic or other encapsulating hoods.
The TTC headset uses speakers that transmit audio directly into the user’s skull, using
advanced bone conduction technology. Since the dual speakers do not block the user’s ears
allowing the user to hear what is going on around (situational awareness). Also, the noise
canceling mic is mounted on an adjustable flex boom to place the mic where you need it.
Dual-Bone Conduction temple speakers transmit audio directly from vibrations into the
user’s skull. Adjustable wrap-around style headset secures behind the user’s head.
Over-the-head, adjustable strap holds headset firmly in-place. Comes with round tactical
PTT (alternative switch: belt mounted junction PTT with detachable finger switch)
Unique Bone Conduction speakers leave the user’s ears uncovered so that the user can hear
both incoming radio transmissions and the sounds going on around them. Or hear standard
issue hearing protection ear plugs required for your work and hear the communication
without need of a large muff headset.
HSM: High Noise In-Helmet Skull Microphone
The Cobalt HSM lightweight in-helmet communications system mounts without
tools to the helmet (or hard hat) liner using a unique strap fastener system. The
ear speaker provides ambient sound and allows you to hear incoming radio
communications without blocking ability to hear what is going on around you.
Voice transmissions are picked up by noise-resistant microphone which sense
sound vibrations through the skull.
Easily and quickly installs into most hardhats or helmets with plastic liners.
Heavy-duty, featuring polyurethane cable, rubber, and high-impact polycarbonate.
Picks up the voice audio directly from vibrations in the user’s skull, very resistant to
picking up background noise.
Large, ambient receive ear speaker leaves ears uncovered to hear what is going on
around you
Comes with standard round tactical switch for easy activation and radio connector
cord. Other switch options are available (sold separately) and can be interchanged
with standard switch.
