TTN: High Noise Bone Conduction Headset
The Cobalt TTN wrap-around headset features dual microphone elements that rest
against temples. These microphones pick up transmit audio directly from vibrations
below user’s skin, using advanced bone conduction technology. Since the dual ambient
ear speakers do not block the user’s ears, the TTN allows the user to hear both incoming
radio calls and what is going on around them.
USES:
Use with hearing protection ear plugs as a lighter and less heat stress alternative to
using muff headsets.
Use with SCBAs and other face masks without mask modification.
Wear under hard hat or helmet.
Tactical teams can wear with kevlar helmets.
Wear under motorcycle helmets.
Wear under tight fitting plastic or other
encapsulating hoods.
