Getting Started
Thank you for purchasing this quality Courant Personal Griddle! This appliance is
fun for trying new recipe combinations. No assembly is required. This guide wi
ll
cover the steps used to prepare food with your griddle. Please read all of these
instructions before first use to safely get the most out of your new appliance.

Before using your griddle for the first time:
1. Carefully unpack the appliance. Remove all labels and packaging materials.
Do not plug the appliance in yet.
2. Take special care when unpacking. Ensure there is no damage.
3. Clean the appliance (see the Care, Cleaning, and Maintenance section later in this
guide). When the appliance is completely dry, place it on a dry, stable, level sur-
face. Ensure it is kept away from any surface edges.
During initial use, you may notice a slight odor due to the release of manufacturing
residues. This is normal and will disappear aer a few uses.
