3.3 Placing a Call
Using the Dialpad
From the iPhone Contact List
Backspace
Clear the entire entry
Enter the phone number
Tap
Tap Call
Tap the Contacts tab at the bottom of the screen
Search for the
contact and tap it
Tap the desired
phone number
If phone numbers from your contact list need to be
modified (for example, to remove extra characters
such as +), you can set up a dial plan. See page 63.
A prompt appears for you to
confirm the call. Or the call starts
immediately. To select the
desired behavior, see “Single
Touch to Call” on page 50.
