To Check Broil Heating Element:
1. Keep the oven door closed. The oven heating elements will turn off when
oven door is open.
2. Press BROIL on the oven control. The default broil setting is High Broil.
3. Press START/ENTER.
4. After a couple minutes, open the oven door temporarily. Without
touching the oven bottom, confirm that heat can be felt radiating from
the oven bottom and close the oven door. After several minutes, the broil
heating element can be visually seen to start glowing red.
5. Press CLEAR/OFF to stop the Broil mode.
