INSTALLATION PROCEDURES
Wall Mount Installation Method
1.
For Ducted Installation
A. Find the 4 mounting holes in the back of the range hood. Mark their locations at the
installation location with a pencil or marker.
B.
Drill 5/16 (8mm) holes
at each of the marked locations.
C. Insert anchors along with screws into each drilled hole. Firmly tighten the screw into
place. Do not tighten the screws all the way. Leave the screw heads about 1/4 in. out.
D. Drill a hole either in the wall or cabinet large enough to wire the electrical supply for the
unit.
E. To duct through the wall, cut a 9.8" x 3.23" hole into the wall and install the metal cover
over the top vent hole. To duct through a cabinet above the hood, cut a 9.8" x 3.23"
rectangle into the bottom of the cabinet and install the metal cover at the rear vent hole.
F. Hang your Range Hood into place by aligning the screws with the 4 mounting holes in
the back of the range hood. Lock into place by sliding down the range hood.
For Ductless Installation
Drill only the four 3.5mm diameter holes as pictured below.
1.Make sure the metal cover is installed to the rear vent, since the recirculated air will go
through the top. If there is a cabinet above the range hood, cut 9.8" x 3.23” hole into the
bottom of the cabinet.
2.Align the damper inside the cabinet with the hole just cut. Install the damper inside the
cabinet with screws.
