INSTALLATIO N PROCEDURES
Cabinet Installation Method
1.
2.
For Ducted installation cut a 9.8" x 3.23" rectangle into the cabinet. (this will be for the
ductwork) and four 3.5mm diameter holes as pictured below picture. 1.Make sure the
metal cover is installed on the vent hole that will not be venting the air. Put four wall
anchors into the drilled holes. Screw the four self tapping screws into the wall anchors.
Do not tighten the screws all the way. Leave the screw heads about 1/4 in. out.
For Ductless installation do not cut into the cabinet or wall. Drill only the four
3.5mm diameter holes as pictured below.
A. Remove the metal cover from the back of the unit.
B. Leave a 1/4" space from the wall to the back of the unit. This space will be needed to
recirculate the air.
C. Drill a hole either in the wall or cabinet large enough to wire the electrical supply for
the unit.
Use the 4 screws to mount the
Range Hood to the cabinet. Check
that your mounting screws are in the
correct place by lifting and fitting the
Range Hood in place. At the same
time, feed the power cable and
electrical wires through the opening
for the power access. If correct, lock
into position by pushing in the
Range Hood.
