After planning the network,

After installing the network trunk cable close
off the ends
with tap boxes and resistors.
Remove the insulation from
one end of the cable.
Use a knife to cut through the outer insulation
at one
end of the OMNINET cable. Take off
about
1.5 inches (4 cm) of the insulation. Do
not remove the insulation from the inner wires.
Pull apart
a tap box.
