ByallowingGlobalExtensionManageraccess,theusercan:
● Createandeditandmanageextensions.Includesallthepointsfromtheprevioususecases.
● Createandeditandmanageextensiongroups.
UseCase4:AccesstoVoIP/TrunksandSystemAdministrator
In addition to managing his company’s extensions, the IT administrator can be given access to
add/editVoIP/TrunksandbegivenSystemAdministratoraccess.Accesstothesetwooptionscan
begivenindependentlyofeachother.
● Userswithaccessto“VoIP/Trunk”canconfigureVoIPGateways,VoIPProvidersand3CX
PhoneSystemBridges.
● Users with “System Administrator” access can modify system extensions (Queues, Ring
Groups,DigitalReceptionists),andalsohaveaccesstoSettingsandUpdates.
Toenableaccesstotheseoptions:
1. Fromthe“Options”tab,checkthe“Allow3CXManagementConsoleAccess”checkbox.
2. Clickthe“ConfigurePermissions”button.
3. From the dialog window check “VoIP / Trunk Administrator” and/or “System
Administrator”,click“OK”.
4. Click“Apply”tosaveChanges.
