ConfiguringDifferentOfficeHoursperDID
Businessesworkinggloballyacrossdifferenttimezones,willwanttoconfiguredifferentofficehours
andholidaysperDID.Forexampleacompany’s24hourworldwidesupport.Todothis:
1. From3CXManagementConsolemenu,click“Add”>“DID/Inboundroute”.
2. Give the Rule a descriptive name. This will be used to identify which DID has been used
whentroubleshooting,asitcanbeseeninthelogs.Itwillalsobeusedforidentifyingwhich
DIDisbeingusedtotomakethecall,andwillbedisplayedintheCallerIDofthedestination
phone.Thisoptioncanbeselected,intheGlobalOptions,toprependthenameoftheDID.
3. Inthe“DIDnumber/mask”typeinthenumber.Thiscanbeawholenumber,orawildcard,
bothformatswillbeconsideredforprocessing.Forexample1235551234or*234.
4. Choose the provider/gateway port. This is used to identify over which line the call will be
cominginfrom.AVoIPProviderwillonlyhaveoneavailableport.AVoIP(PSTN)Gateway,
will have one port for each physical line, depending on the make and model. Patton
gatewaysforexamplewillhaveoneportforeachline.Beronetgatewayswillonlyhaveone
portpergateway.
5. InordertoenablecustomDIDopeninghours,uncheckthe“Applythesameroutinglogic
Outsideofofficehours”box.
6. Choose where you want to route out of office hours calls in the “Outside Office Hours”
section.
7. Check “Set up Specific Office Hours”. This option will only be enabled if you disable
“Applythesame routinglogicOutsideof officehours”.Click“Setup SpecificOffice
Hours”toopenupthedialogbox.
