ReProvisioningthePhones
Ifyouneedtoreprovisionthephones,forexampleafteryouhavemadeconfigurationchanges.
1. Selectthe“Phones”nodeinthemanagementconsole.
2. Selectthephonesthatyouwishtoreprovision.
3. Click“Reprovisionphones”.
4. Selectthephonesagainandselect“Reboot”torestartthephonesandactivatethenew
provisioninginformation.
UpdatingtheFirmwareonYourPhones
It is possible to update the firmware of your Cisco, Fanvil, Htek, snom, and Yealink IP phones
throughout your network, from the 3CX Management Console. Each of the firmware has been
interoptestedby3CX.Itisrecommendedthatyouupgradefirmwareusingthismethodandnotby
downloading the firmware directly from the vendor’s websites. To upgrade your IP Phones to the
latest3CXtestedfirmware:
1. Fromthe“Phones”node,selecttheIPPhoneswhichyouwishtoupgradethefirmwareon
andclickthe“UpgradeFirmware”button.
2. Selectthemodelandfirmwareofthephonefromtheupgradelistandclick“Upgrade”.The
firmware will be uploaded and the phone rebooted. Note this feature requires a valid
maintenanceagreement.
OtherIPendpointdevices
3CXsupportsvariousforendpointssuchasDECTphones,doorphones,conferencephonesandIP
