Fromhereyoucanconfigure:
● Disallowuseof3CXPhoneRemovestheusersabilitytousea3CXPhone
● HidetheForwardingRulesRemovestheusersabilitytoconfigurehis/herforwarding
rulesfromwithinthe3CXPhoneclient.Theseoptionswillonlybeavailablefromthe3CX
ManagementConsole.
● ShowCallRecordings/AllowDeletionofRecordingsAddsthecallrecordings,allowing
theusertomanagetheircallrecordings.
● Configuredefaultphonemodetouseinthe3CXPhoneforWindowsConfigurewhich
phonemode(SoftphoneorCTI)mustbeusedbydefault.
● DefaultStartupScreenSetsthedefaultappearanceofthephonetothedialpadorthe
presencescreen.
● Use3CXTunnelforremoteconnectionsConfigures3CXPhonetousethe3CXTunnel
forthe“OutofOffice”connectiontothe3CXPhonesystemratherthanconnectingdirectly
via STUN/SIP port of the pbx. It is advised to turn this option ON to avoid intermittent
connectionproblems(absenceofaudio)fromremotelocationstothephonesystem.
Note:3CXPhoneSystemincludesanautomaticcallbackfeatureinBlindTransfer.Ifyouperforma
blindtransferandtherecipientofthecallisbusy,thenthecallwillautomaticallyreturnbacktoyou.
Thiswayyoucaninformthecallerthatthepersontheyaretryingtocontactisbusyandproceedto

Configuring3CXPhoneasaremoteextension
