19. Slide straight sleeve with two #56 clamps onto straight sleeve. Do not tighten at this time. (Fig S)
20. First slide duct into hump hose, next slide straight sleeve onto throttle body. Do not tighten at this time. (Fig T)
21. Tighten hardware used to hold bracket to heat shield. (Fig U)
22. Tighten the clamp on the throttle body and the filter adapter. (FIG V,W)
23. Position the duct ensuring clearance to the air conditioning line running beneath the part. If more clearance to the
AC line is desired, you may loosen the hardware of the shield bracket and reposition the shield to allow more space.
Once satisfied with duct position, tighten all remaining clamps. (FIG X,Y)
24. Reinstall plastic push pin into the windshield washer fluid fill neck. (FIG Z)
25. Pull up to remove engine cover. (FIG AA)
26. Remove factory vacuum hose from engine. (FIG AB)
27. Install supplied vacuum hose. (FIG AC,AD)
28. Plug in the air intake temperature harness. (FIG AE)
29. Reinstall engine cover. (FIG AF)
30. OPTIONAL. You may remove the factory air dam to increase flow to your intake system. Remove the two plastic
push pins, as well as one tree clip. (FIG AG,AH,AI)
31. Place Corsa Performance badge on heat shield or any other desired location. Attach CARB label underneath hood in
visible location.
32. Reattach the negative battery cable and recheck all connections before driving and retighten the clamps after 500
miles. (Fig AJ)
