Installation Instructions:
Locate your vehicle’s battery and disconnect the negative battery cable,
this resets the computer and clears old air flow data to prevent CEL errors.
1. Before you begin the install you must disconnect the negative battery cable. Failure to disconnect the battery may
cause a check engine light or damage your engine. (Fig A)
2. Using a 5/16 socket or nut driver, loosen the clamp holding the air duct to the throttle body. (Fig B)
3. Disconnect the harness from the intake air temperature sensor. (Fig C)
4. Remove vacuum hose from air box. (Fig D)
5. Slide air duct off throttle body and pull intake assembly up and out to remove from vehicle. (Fig E)
6. Remove air temperature sensor from stock air duct. (Fig F) Save for reinstallation.
WARNING: Over tightening hardware may alter the integrity of the CORSA air intake system.
7. Install the intake air temperature sensor into the Corsa air duct. (Fig G)
8. Insert one of the mounting grommets from the bottom of the stock air box into the Corsa heat shield. (Fig H)
9. Bolt filter adapter to heat shield using supplied socket head bolts, lock washers, and flat washers. (Fig I)
10. Install trim on Corsa heat shield. Where applicable, add a relief cut to allow trim to form around sharp bend. (Fig J)
11. Loosely assemble bracket to shield using supplied hardware. (Fig K)
12. Remove plastic clip holding the windshield washer fluid fill neck to the vehicle. (Fig L) Save for reinstallation.
13. Remove the 10mm bolt located behind the windshield washer fluid fill neck. (Fig M) Save for reinstallation.
14. Install filter onto filter adapter and tighten. (Fig N)
15. Insert shield into vehicle. Slide grommet onto mounting pin. (Fig O)
16. Bolt shield to vehicle using supplied hardware. (Fig P)
17. Use the factory 10mm bolt removed in step 13 to attached the Corsa heat shield bracket to the vehicle. (Fig Q)
18. Slide hump hose and two #56 clamps onto filter adapter. Do not tighten at this time. (Fig R)
