Installation Instructions:
Locate your vehicle’s battery and disconnect the negative battery cable,
this resets the computer and clears old air flow data to prevent CEL errors.
1. Before you begin the install you must disconnect the negative battery cable. Failure to disconnect the battery may
cause a check engine light or damage your engine. (Fig A)
2. Pull up and out to remove engine cover. (Fig B)
3. Using a 5/16 socket or nut driver, loosen the clamp holding the air duct to the throttle body. (Fig C)
4. Disconnect the harness from the intake air temperature sensor. (Fig D)
5. Disconnect vacuum hose from engine. (Fig E)
6. Remove air box mounting bolt from front of air box. (Fig F) Save for reinstallation.
7. Slide air duct off throttle body and pull intake assembly up and out to remove from vehicle. (Fig G)
8. Remove air temperature sensor from stock air duct. (Fig H) Save for reinstallation.
WARNING: Over tightening hardware may alter the integrity of the CORSA air intake system.
9. Install the supplied grommet along with the factory intake air temperature sensor into the Corsa air duct. (Fig I)
10. Bolt filter adapter to heat shield using supplied socket head bolts, lock washers, and flat washers. (Fig J)
11. Install vinyl trim pieces on Corsa heat shield. Where applicable, add a relief cut to allow trim to form around sharp
bend. (Fig K)
12. Loosely assemble bracket to shield using supplied hardware. (Fig L)
13. Remove factory 10mm bolt from inner fender. (Fig M)
14. Insert Corsa heat shield into vehicle. (Fig N)
15. Place supplied spacer between Corsa heat shield and inner fender and attach to vehicle using supplied hardware.
Tighten.(Fig O)
16. Using factory bolt removed in step 6, attach Corsa heat shield to factory mounting point. Tighten. (Fig P)
17. Fully tighten hardware holding bracket to heat shield installed in step 12. (Fig Q)
