REMOVAL INSTRUCTIONS
FACTORY EXHAUST
8. Remove both sleeve clamps from the stock
cat-back and save for Install Step 1.
9. Remove the driver and passenger side hanger
grommet assemblies from the axle pipe hangers
using grommet pullers or a similar device. Save
for Install Step 4.
NOTE: Remember how the hangers are installed
and their position on the stock exhaust, they
need to be reinstalled in the same way.
10. Using a cut off wheel or similar device, carefully
cut the band clamp holding the rear most heat
shields. Use caution as to not cut into the
exhaust pipe itself.
11. Using a flat head screw driver, pry up the heat
shields and move them up and down until the
ends at the front of the heat shields break.
12. Grind any remaining weld smooth using a 90° die
grinder.
