REMOVAL INSTRUCTIONS
FACTORY EXHAUST
4. Use a 3/8” drive ratchet and 13mm socket to remove the bolt holding the driver side hanger grommet
assembly. Save bolt for Install Step 7. Push up slightly on the exhaust and slide the hanger grommet
assembly rearward to free it from the rear suspension sub-frame. Rotate the hanger grommet assembly
a minimum of 90° so it will not interfere with the rear suspension sub-frame. Repeat for passenger side.
5. Slide the stock exhaust assembly rearward until
the stock resonator and sleeve clamps are free
from the exhaust manifold pipes. Lower the front
of the exhaust then slide it forwards to remove
the rear driver and passenger side hangers from
their hanger grommets and remove the exhaust
from the vehicle.
6. Place a piece of tape on each exhaust valve
actuator and label them “D” for driver and “P” for
passenger side.
7. Use a 3/8” drive ratchet and a 10mm socket to remove the three nuts on each actuator. Remove the
actuators from their valve assemblies. Place the actuators in a safe location to be used during Install
Step 11. Install the hardware back onto the studs or store in a safe location since they will not be
re-used during installation.
