Prior t o Start - up, ensure t hat ;
9 All system interconnections are secure.
9 The vehicle engine is running before proceeding.
9 The power connections are secure.
1. Power- up bot h t he Mobile Collector and t he
not ebook PC.
2. Log on t o Windows XP.
3. Power- on the GPS unit .

functioning and t he vehicle icon is shown at a locat ion on
the m ap.

The overall operation of evoDrive is straight forward. Aft er
st art ing t he evoDrive program you m ust first load the
route file - t hen t ouch t he Transmit t er ON but t on to
act ivat e t he evoDrive Mobile Collect or. Now drive the
route t o collect m et ering dat a. Stop or pause the route
anyt im e you wish using t he Stop but t on and one of it s
four opt ions. Use t he STOP Quit but t on t o quit t he
program . When t he rout e is finished, export t he loaded
route file back t o t he evoLink Rout e Manager.
