CorelTRACE™ 9: CorelTRACE 9 is a bitmap-to-vector tracing utility that converts bitmap images to vector
images.
Corel TEXTURE™: Corel TEXTURE lets users simulate natural textures, such as clouds, marble, and wood, by
combining up to seven user-defined material layers. Users can define the interaction between the la yers and
apply lighting effects. Users can also create a variety of custom textures.
Corel CAPTURE™ 9: Corel CAPTURE 9 lets users capture images of a computer screen and record on-screen
actions as animation files. Users can capture images of the entire screen, individual windows, tool bars, flyouts,
menus, or any rectangular, elliptical, or freehand area the user defines. These images can be used in various
applications, such as word processors and presentation applications.
Corel SCRIPT™: Corel SCRIPT can be used to develop macros and scripts to automate tasks in CorelDRAW 9.
Corel SCRIPT Editor™: Corel SCRIPT Editor lets users modify saved recordings or scripts. Users can employ
Corel SCRIPT Editor to edit commands, add commands that cannot be recorded, or write scripts from
scratch to automate tasks in CorelDRAW. Corel SCRIPT Editor includes features to test, debug, and r un
script files.
Adobe® Acrobat® Reader: Adobe Acrobat Reader lets users view, navigate, and print PDFs across multiple
platforms. CorelDRAW users can also save their documents as .PDF files.
Plug-Ins
CorelDRAW 9 includes Adobe® Photoshop®-compatible plug-in filters, such as Digimarc® Digital
Watermarking and Human Software Squizz!™. These plug-in filters can also be used with Corel
PHOTO-PAINT™ 9.
Libraries and Fonts
CorelDRAW 9 includes an extensive collection of image libraries, templates, and fonts to enhance a user’s
documents, including the following:
• 25,000 clipart images and symbols, with 10,000 new to CorelDRAW 9
• 1,000 TrueType® and Type 1 fonts, with Euro symbols available for each font family
• 1,000 high-resolution photos
Documentation
CorelDRAW 9 includes comprehensive documentation, including a full-color reference manual that prov ides
conceptual and procedural information. A detailed online Help system is also available for quick re ference.
CorelDRAW 9 also includes the Corel Commercial Printing Guide. This document provides an overview o f
basic and advanced color management concepts, as well as information relevant to the design, output , and
prepress process users encounter when preparing their work for printing in a professional output
environment.
