apply color to your image, from
changing the paper color, to choosing
colors for your brush strokes, to
applying gradients to an entire image
or selection.
Working with Color
You can select colors in several ways.
You can use:
the Color pickers on the Colors
palette
the Dropper tool, which samples
color from the image
the Use Clone Color setting,
which pulls color from a source
the Mixer palette
the Color Sets palette
The Colors palette is one place you can select a
color to add to your image.
To display the Colors palette:
Choose Window menu > Show
Colors.
Changing Paper Color
You can change a document’s paper
color—the color of the background
Canvas—at any time. This color
appears when you delete a filled area
or use the eraser to remove color.
