To set dye pickup:
1 On the Stroke Designer page of
the Brush Creator, click Water.
2 Move the Pickup slider right to
increase the amount of leaching.
Move it left to reduce the amount
of leaching.
Dry Rate
Dry Rate controls the rate at which
water dries during diffusion. Lower
values cause greater spread, while
higher values reduce the amount of
spread.
The Dry Rate slider controls the rate at which
water dries during diffusion. Top=1%.
bottom=50%.

Evaporation Threshold
Evaporation Threshold controls the
minimum amount of water which can
still diffuse. Lower values cause
greater spread, while higher values
reduce the amount of spread.
The EvapThreshold slider controls the
minimum amount of water which can still
diffuse.Top=1%, bottom=50%
To set the evaporation threshold:
1 On the Stroke Designer page of
the Brush Creator, click Water.
2 Move the Evap Threshold slider
right to reduce the amount of
spread. Move it left to increase the
amount of spread.
Diffuse Amount
Diffuse Amount controls the amount
of dye that gets diffused. High
diffusion creates soft edges that
feather into the grain, similar to
painting on wet, absorbent paper. Low
diffusion is like painting on dry paper.
Use the Diffusion slider to control the spread of
the stroke. Top=0, bottom=8.
