WordPerfect® Office X3 Customer Profiles
WordPerfect Office X3 has been designed specifically for six key customer
segments, each with distinct characteristics and needs. To indicate which
features are most applicable to which customer segment, the following segment
icons have been used throughout this reviewer’s guide.
Please note that each icon denotes the segment for which a feature is most
applicable. The benefits of the features described, however, are not limited to
those segments.
Government
Public sector organizations, ranging from dozens to thousands of seats, require
low-cost, enterprise-class features, Microsoft Office compatibility, an open
architecture, support for open standards, ease of use, and accessibility.
Legal
Legal professionals and entities, ranging from small firms and solo practitioners
to large firms and legal aid groups, require advanced formatting, robust PDF
capabilities, legal-specific tools, and support for key file formats, such as
WordPerfect, Microsoft Office, PDF, and EDGAR®.
Consumer
Customers shopping for their home PCs seek feature-rich and easy-to-use
software to help them with a wide variety of tasks, including general
correspondence, home-based business projects, home office projects, school
assignments, family budgets, and work projects.
