General
The General section displays the following:
• Network Name (SSID) — name of the network you are connected to. You can change the
name to something more descriptive if you want; for example, if there are several MiFi
devices in your area you might put your name in the network name; for example, "Sarah's
MiFi".
• 802.11 Mode — the type of wireless networking you are currently using. The available
modes are:
• 802.11b +802.11g
• 802.11b only
• 802.11g only
• 802.11n only
• 802.11b+802.11g+802.11n
• 802.11g+802.11n
• Wi-Fi Security — the type of security the prole is using.
• Wi-Fi Password (Key) — password used to access the Wi-Fi network. The required format
varies by the type of security.
• Maximum Wi-Fi Connected Devices — select the number of devices you want to allow to
connect to your MiFi device (1 - 10).
• Display the Wi-Fi Password — turn o to prevent the Wi-Fi Password (Key) from displaying on
the touchscreen.
