Congure Security
Although your device is pre-congured to have security enabled, you should change the password
to a password you can easily remember and that is hard for others to guess.
Using security with your wireless network is very important. It is recommended that you congure
security immediately by changing the following:
• Change the Web Interface Password
• Change the Wi-Fi Password
Change the Web Interface
➊ Open your browser, go to http://my.mi, and then click Login. (See Log into the MiFi 2 Web
Interface on page 24).
➋ Enter the device password and then click Login.
➌ Click Change MiFi 2 Web Interface Password in the MiFi Quick Links panel.
