Select the MiFi 2’s Wi-Fi network name.
Windows: Click Connect.
Mac: Connects automatically after you select the MiFi 2’s network name and enter the Wi-Fi
password.
When your computer is connected to your MiFi 2, the MiFi 2 touchscreen will display the message
“Connected Devices: A device has connected to the MiFi 2. The number of connected devices will
also display on the status bar of the touchscreen
My network does not appear in the wireless network list.
Verify that the MiFi 2 is powered on.
Refresh your network list.
Windows: Click the refresh button on the upper right corner of the Wireless Network
Connection page. If that does not work you can try the following:
1. Open Network Connections.
2. Right-click Wireless Network Connection and select Properties.
3. Click the Wireless Networks tab.
4. Delete any unused wireless connections from the Preferred Networks list and click OK.
5. Restart your computer.
Mac: Click the AirPort icon in the menu bar and select Turn AirPort O. Then click it again
and select Turn AirPort On.
I can connect to my MiFi 2 but I cannot connect to the Internet.
Check the user name, password, and access point name (APN) in your connection prole. If any
of these are wrong, you cannot connect to the network.
I see the network name but I cannot connect to my MiFi 2.
Check that you are connecting to your MiFi 2 device. If another MiFi 2 device is in the area, you
may be trying to connect to the wrong MiFi 2 device.
If your MiFi device has a Wi-Fi password, check that you entered the correct password.
How do I disconnect from the network?
From the MiFi 2 touchscreen:
1. Hold the power button until the Shut Down message displays.
2. Tap Yes to shut down the MiFi 2 device and disconnect from the network.
