E Inf or mación im por t an t e de segur idad Precauciones generales de seguridad No introduzca bebidas carbonatadas (con gas), bebidas embotelladas ni tarros de fruta dentro del compartimento del congelador. Mantenga estas instrucciones siempre a mano. Deben permanecer con el aparato si se traslada a otro lugar o cambia de dueño. Compruebe y limpie regularmente el desagüe del agua de la descongelación una etiqueta dentro del frigorífico le advierte a tal efecto.

La denominación oficial del aparato es; frigorífico congelador combinado con un compresor y congelador en la parte inferior del aparato. A parte de los servicios generales el aparato incorpora un congelador con su propia puerta que esta totalmente separado del otro compartimento.
E Interruptor indicador Utilice el interruptor indicador amarillo situado en el panel frontal en los dos casos siguientes: 1. Pulse el interruptor cuando la temperatura ambiente supera +16 °C (este se desbloqueará y se ilumina). El interruptor conecta una resistencia que asegura que se alcance la temperatura de conservación necesaria de -18 °C. Esto es efectivo para una temperatura ambiente de hasta +10 °C. 2. Para alcanzar una capacidad de congelación mas alta de 4 kg/24h a 12 kg/24h o hasta 18 kg/24h.
E Como utilizar el frigorífico Para que haya una refrigeración adecuada es necesario que haya buena circulación del aire. Por este motivo se recomienda que no cubra toda la superficie de la parrilla con papel, bandejas, etc. No introduzca alimentos calientes en el interior del frigorífico. Permita que estos alcancen la temperatura ambiente. De este modo se evitará la formación de hielo en el interior del compartimento. Los alimentos pueden absorber y tomar los olores unos de otros.
E Como utilizar el congelador Congelación La congelación de distintos productos siempre se debe realizar en el compartimento de congelación o más bien sobre la placa del evaporador del mismo compartimento Dependiendo de la cantidad a congelar, el procedimiento puede ser el siguiente: 1. Si la cantidad a congelar no supera los 4 kg. 1.1. Regule el termostato a la posición 3. 1.2. Introduzca la cantidad a congelar dentro del compartimento congelador (máx. 4 kg). 1.3.
E Consejos e ideas Mantenimiento En este capitulo se suministran consejos e ideas prácticas sobre como utilizar el aparato y como lograr el máximo ahorro de energía además de información medioambiental del aparato. Descongelación Como ahorrar energía Evite ubicar el aparato en lugares soleados o cerca de fuentes de calor. Asegúrese que el condensador y el compresor estén bien ventilados. No cubra la sección de ventilación.
E Durante los periodos en que una reducción de temperatura sea necesaria - p.ej. olas de calor; puede ocurrir que temporalmente el compresor del frigorífico esté funcionando continuamente - durante éste periodo la descongelación automática no es efectiva. Las pequeñas manchas de hielo y escarcha que permanecen después de la descongelación no son anormales.
E Limpieza regular Es recomendable limpiar el interior del frigorífico cada 3-4 semanas empleando agua tibia y un paño (es practico limpiar el interior del congelador y descongelarlo a la vez). No se debe emplear limpiadores domestico o jabón. Después de desenchufar el aparato limpie el interior con agua templada y seque las superficies con un paño. Limpie la guarnición de la puerta con agua limpia. Después de limpiar el aparato vuélvalo a enchufar.
E También queremos destacar que el aparato no funciona constantemente, de modo que el que el compresor se detenga no significa que no llegue corriente al aparato. Por este motivo no debe tocar ningún componente eléctrico antes de desenchufar el aparato. Problema La temperatura dentro del frigorífico es demasiado elevada Posible causa El termostato puede estar mal regulado. Solución Regule el mando del termostato a una posición mas alta.

E Cuando ubique el aparato asegúrese que esté bien nivelado. Esto se puede conseguir por medio de las dos patas niveladoras (1) situadas en la parte inferior delantera del aparato. Las piezas 1 - 1 son las arandelas distanciadoras (2) de las patas niveladoras. Si es necesario para la nivelación del aparato, estas arandelas se pueden retirar. No sitúe el aparato en un lugar muy soleado o junto a un radiador o cocina.
E Se deben realizar los siguientes pasos en base a las ilustraciones y explicaciones siguientes: Desenchufe el aparato de la red eléctrica. Incline hacia atrás el aparato con cuidado de que el compresor no toque el suelo. Se recomienda que otra persona le ayude para mantener el aparato en ésta posición de modo seguro. Retire con cuidado (p. ej. con un cuchillo) los tapones de los tornillos que fijan el zócalo. Seguidamente retire los tornillos (2 unid.) que fijan el zócalo de ventilación.
E Conexión Eléctrica Este frigorífico esta diseñado para funcionar con un suministro eléctrico de 230 V AC (~) 50 Hz. El enchufe debe ser insertado en un enchufe hembra con contactos protegidos. Si no dispone de uno así, se recomienda que un electricista le instale uno con toma a tierra cerca del aparato que se conforme a las normas de su país. Este aparato es conforme las siguentes normas de C.E.E. 73/23 EEC del 19.02.73 (Norma de Bajo Voltaje) y subsiguientes modificaciones. 89/23 EEC del 03.05.

The appliance has -besides the general services- a freezer with its own door and is completely separated from the other unit.
GB Indicating switch To use the yellow indicating switch placed in the cover frame can be necessary in two cases: 1. Push the switch (it will move outwards and the indicator lamp will give light) when the ambient temperature goes beyond +16 °C. The switch operates a heater, which ensures that the necessary -18 °C storing temperature can be used. This is effective to an ambient temperature limit of +10 °C. 2. To reach higher freezing capacity from 3 kg/24h, 12 kg/24h to 18 kg/24h see chapter Freezing.

It is safe to store quick-frozen, frozen foods only if they have not dissolved even for a short time until placing them into the freezer. If the deepfrozen food has already dissolved, refreezing is not recommended, it has to be used up as soon as possible.
GB Hints and ideas Maintenance In this chapter practical hints and ideas are given about how to use the appliance to reach maximum energy saving and there is environmental information about the appliance as well. Defrosting How to save energy Avoid putting the appliance in a sunny place and near anything that gives off heat. Be sure that the condenser and the compressor are well ventilated. Do not cover the sections where ventilation is.
GB Clean the melting water outlet with the supplied pipe scraper that can be seen in the figure. The pipe scraper has to be stored in the outlet. The most typical case of clogging up in the melting water outlet when you put food wrapped in some paper into the appliance and this paper contacts back plate of the refrigerator and freezes to it. If you remove the food right at this moment the paper will tear and it can cause clogging up in the outlet by getting into it.
GB Regular cleaning It is recommended to wash the inside of the refrigerator in 3-4 weeks time using lukewarm water then wipe it (it is practical to clean the inside of the freezer and defrost it at a time). Household cleaner or soap must not be used. After breaking the circuit wash the appliance with lukewarm water then wipe it. Clean the door gasket with clean water. After cleaning apply voltage to the appliance.
