6.4 INSERT AND READ A SMARTCARD
6.4.1 Hardware
The C-One e- ID x / MR2xxx integrates a Smart card contact reader at the bottom of the device.

6.4.2 Software
The PCSC Sample can be used to communicate with a smart card using APDU (Source code of the application is
available in Coppernic SDK).
Select the “Gemalto
GemCore Sim Pro
Smart Card” Reader in
the list
Click Connect to
start communication
with the reader
Enter an APDU in
hexadecimal format
and click on ‘send’.
Reader data output
will be display in this
log view
