The following table describes the purpose and location of safety labels and other important information
provided on the equipment.

Electrical ratings
Rear of console near power inlet

Device Listing/Certification Labels
Laboratory logo or labels denoting conformance
with industry safety standards such as UL or IEC.

Type/Class Label
Used to indicate the degree of safety or protection
IP Code (IP68)
Indicates the degree of protection provided by the
enclosure per IEC 60529. IP68 indicates can be
used in operating room environment.
Footswitch
Equipment Type BF (man in the box symbol) IEC
60878 indicates B Type equipment having a floating
applied part
Probe connectors and PCG Connectors
Equipment Type CF (heart in the box symbol) IEC
60878 indicates equipment having a floating applied
part having a high degree of protection suitable for
direct cardiac contact.
