Starts recording audio when
alarm is set, records for 30
seconds in a constant loop, this
can be replayed in the eveny
of an alarm
When an alarm is triggered audio
recording continues (if alarm set
is used) for 15 seconds. Result is 15
seconds before alarm trigger and
15 second after.

AV60 Audio Verification
Audio verification is achieved by connecting microphones, fitted throughout a
protected premises, to the AV60 Unit.
The AV60 Unit is then connected to an existing alarm system which provides it with
information on the alarm status ( set, alarm, communication successful).
When an alarm is triggered the alarm signal is sent to an ARC via
Digital Communicator, Red care or Modem (existing equipment as part of the alarm
system).
Once the ARC has received and acknowledged the alarm signal they will then dial
back in to the site using a standard telephone and the AV60 Unit will then provide a
"Listen in" facility.
The AV unit will NOT provide alarm detection or alarm signalling.
The ARC will have a series of facilities to help them identify if the alarm is false or if the
site requires policing.
Each ARC will have their own particular procedures for dealing with audio
verification and you should consult your ARC for details.
The AV unit has the ability to comply with every existing procedure, you will have to
programme the unit in specific ways to comply with the requirements of some ARC's
Phone Line
ARC
• Adds audio verication to existing security systems without the need to change the
existing control panel
• Eight microphone inputs on separate channels (can be extended to 32)
• Each input can have up to 4 microphones connected
(maximum 128 microphones per system using extender)
• Channels can be listened to individually or as a group
• Accepted by all major alarm receiving centres “ARC”
• Has the ability to replay recorded audio so events leading up to an activation can
be listened to.
• Talk back facility to allow ARC to talk to the site
• Fully BT approved
• Designed and manufactured in the UK

Trigger module
This versatile unit has all the basic functions
of a conventional control panel and can
be battery operated. It's ideal for such
things as:-
• Loop alarm
• Caravan alarm
• Simple shed alarm
• A very quick x or temporary system
• Plus lots more

12V Spike Clamp
Designed to protect 12V systems from spikes,
bursts and interference from mains supplies
and lighting cables. The Spike Clamp Filter
safely conducts fast interference to earth,
and simply connects to the 12V auxiliary
supply.
ULTRA UNIVERSAL RELAY
Combines two of the most commonly used relay
modules, standard relay and a TRANSISTORISED
relay.
The relay is driven by an input of 9.5V to 30V AC
or DC. It can also be controlled from a very low
current source such as communicator ports or
logic outputs by using the transistorised trigger
input connections.
The double pole relay is capable of switching
over 1Kw of mains lighting.
The High current source (universal relay) accepts
input voltages from 9.5V to 30V AC or DC.
No cutting of links or setting the input voltage
required; the unit does it for you automatically.
The Transistorised input trigger can be either a
positive or negative.
Toggle Relay
A simple relay module that can be
connected to an output from alarm systems
or CCTV systems allowing the relay to switch
mains voltage equipment
The toggle relay is capable of switching 250V
AC at a current of 5 Amps
With parallel input terminals to allow for ease
of daisy chaining units together.
Toggle relay can be triggered by
a) Positive applied
b) Positive removed
c) Negative applied
EVERYTIME TIMER
This extremely versatile unit has TWO timer periods. Timer ‘A’ (what happens
once the unit is triggered) and Timer ‘B’ (what happens after timer ‘A’ has
nished). Operates on any voltage between 12 and 24V DC. Adjustable
from 1 second to 64 weeks.
The unit has three basic functions:-
• Simple timer, whereby the relay state is changed, either during or after the
programmed time following a trigger.
• Cyclic timer, whereby the on and off times of the relay can be separately
defined.
• Counting of trigger inputs, whereby the relay state is changed after a set
number of trigger pulses have been seen.
• Edge or level trigger and clean contact. High or low trigger level.
Examples of possible uses
0 If a door is opened an alarm sounds for a fixed time. A reset is required
after the alarm has sounded.
1 If a door is left open for a period exceeding a time an alarm sounds. A
reset is required after the alarm has sounded.
2 If a sensor detects movement, lights are turned on for a time. Further
movement does not extend lights on time. No reset is required.
3 Testing a dual path signalling system by opening the P.O. line once every
30 days for 15 seconds.
FLASHING LEDs
Available with single or double LED's, these
modules are supplied complete with a battery
with a life up to 6 years in constant use. The LED's
are tted to exible wands that allow the installer
to bend the wand into whatever shape required
to position the leds.
The extended battery life is achieved by the use of
ultra low leakage transistors, and a voltage tripling
circuit generates the ultra bright ash.
The units are supplied with a fixing pack consisting
of jumper link & double sided sticky pads to fasten
the battery and asher to the sounder housing.
The units are conformal coated and are sutable
for external use in a protective case
At the end of battery life the unit may be returned
to the manufacturer for refurbishment and safe
disposal of the spent battery.
