Addressable beam & duct detectors/callpoints
CBG Range
The Cooper range of addressable callpoints are available as
surface and weatherproof versions and approved to EN54-13.
All callpoints have integral short circuit isolators and have a status
LED fitted as standard. To simplify replacement of glass element
callpoints are fitted with fast fit clip on front covers.

Beam detection
The Cooper loop powered reflective beam detectors
are specifically designed to function with all Cooper
analogue panels.
Two versions are available, one with a range of up to 50 Metres, the
other with a range of 50 - 100 Metres. The units are extremely simple
to install and require no separate power supply.
Duct probe
The Duct Probe unit is designed for use with the Cooper range of
optical smoke detectors.
The presence of smoke in a ventilation duct is detected by sampling the airflow
through the duct via two sampling tubes. A detector and base are mounted
within the sampling chamber, which is located on the external skin of the duct,
with sample and exhaust probes passing into the duct in an area of low
turbulence. The unit requires a analogue optical detector and base and is
supplied with full fixing instructions.
