Port Based VLAN Mode—Port Based VLAN mode provides a simple way to create a VLAN. To create a new port
based VLAN, first choose “Port Based” in the Operation Mode field (see Figure 55), and then click Add. The screen
now looks like Figure 56. Simply name the VLAN, assign a VLAN ID, and select the ports to be included in the
VLAN.

Operation Mode Select “Port Based” to create a port based VLAN.
Add Click to add a new port based VLAN. The screen in Figure 56 appears, where you can
configure the new VLAN.
Edit To edit a VLAN, click the VLAN name in the list and click Edit. The screen in Figure 56
appears, where you can change the VLAN name, and add or remove ports from the
VLAN.
Delete To delete a VLAN, click the VLAN name in the list and click Delete.
