Note:TheexistingbackplateisreusedfortheinstallationofDominoA.L.C..
RemovetheOEMheatsinkfromtheprocessor.Thenremoveheatsinkreten‐
tion bracket from motherboard by unscrewing the four Philips head screws
(Fig6).
Caution: backplate may fall away from motherboard. If
 this occurs, remove
motherboardthenrepositionbackplateandtapeinplace.
CleanThermalCompoundfromCPUCapusingapapertoweloracleancloth
andinstallthefourprovidedstandoffsintothebackplatemountingholes(Fig
7).
Installstandoffs[PartG]intotheholesfromwhichyouremoved
theheatsink
retentionframe.
Carefullyremovemotherboardandpositionappropriatebackplate(LGA1366
[Part C] or LGA 775 [Part D]) on the underside of the board. It is recom‐
mended to make use of thedouble‐sided tape providedon the backplateto
holditinplace.Thiswillaidwith
installationprocess.
Remountthemotherboard.
