Turn the turntable to the right and set the Miter Angle as follows:
For 45° type crown moldings: 35.3° ( mark)
For 38° type crown moldings: 31.6° ( mark)

Tilt the motor head to the left and set the Bevel Angle as follows:
For 45° type crown moldings: 30° ( mark)
For 38° type crown moldings: 33.9° ( mark)

Position the crown molding so that the upper surface (
in Fig. 19) contacts
the fence as indicated in Fig. 23.

Cutting method of crown molding without tilting the saw blade.
(1) Crown molding Stopper (L) and (R) (optional accessories) allow easier
cuts of crown molding without tilting the saw blade. Install them in the
base both-sides side to be shown in Fig. 25-a. After inserting Tighten the
6mm knob bolts to secure the crown molding Stoppers.

(2) The crown molding vise (B) (Optional accessory) can be mounted on
either left side of the fence or the right side of the fence. It can unite with
the slope of the crown molding and vice can be pressed down.
Then turn the upper knob, as necessary, to securely attach the crown
molding in position. To raise or lower the vise assembly, rst loosen the
6mm knob bolt.
After adjusting the height, rmly tighten the 6mm wing bolt; then turn
the upper knob, as necessary, to securely attach the crown molding in
position. (See Fig. 25-b)
