Do’s & Don’ts
DO
• Read the Owner’s Manual.
• Check all hose connections.
• Use a 12 gauge cord if under 50ft or use 10 gauge cord if over 50ft.
• Provide fresh air intake for the COOL-SPACE.
• Keep 3ft. minimum clearance behind the COOL-SPACE.
• New cooling media can have a slight odor. Flushing will remove this and increase eciency.
1. Fill the COOL-SPACE with water
2. Switch on the pump
3. Run without the fan for at least 5 hours
• Make sure the cooling media is being evenly saturated by using the control valve to adjust the water ow
without oversaturating the media. You should see streaks of wet and dry.
• Drain and clean weekly. (Various conditions determine the need for this maintenance.) Remove cooling
media and wash with a garden hose.
• Use Refresh™ Tablets (algae killer) and/or CTT-EC™ Cooler Treatment Tablets (mineral treatment).

DON’T
• Don’t forget to dry out the pads before shutting down. Turn o the pump and leave fan running for 10-15
minutes.
• Don’t run the pump without rst lling the reservoir with water.
• Don’t turn water valve all the way open - it may ood the cooling media.
• Don’t operate with more than 120lbs of water pressure.
• Don’t operate the COOL-SPACE in a sealed room. Allow for fresh air intake and exhaust.
