This is a straight through metal adapter. No cable is involved, hence RF losses are substantially
reduced.
SMA/Reverse SMA connectors are notoriously difficult to identify.
This adapter can be identified in the following (equivalent) ways:
. Reverse Polarity SMA Plug to to N Jack.
. Reverse SMA to N female.
. SMA with outer female nut and female centre pin to N with outer male thread and centre female pin.

That said, it is suitable to allow connection of LMR400 coax cable with an N male connector to the
appropriate models of the following brands of Access Points. ie the model must have an external
antenna connector (removable antenna). A lot don't.
Netgear, DLink, Linksys and Zcom.
