With the Pod and Evolution securely in place, turn the ignition key ON, and then
plug the cable into the OBDII connector. The Evolution logo will display followed
by a disclaimer. After you agree to the disclaimer by pressing [ENTER], the
following screen will be displayed:
Note: If you are connecting the Evolution for the first time, or you have recently
updated, you will see a screen that says UPDATING BRIDGE. This screen will
show while the evolution updates the OBDII bridge, when it’s finished it will
prompt you through the rest of the screens as outlined here.
This screen shows the calibration info of the truck that the Evolution is currently
connected to.
Note: If no calibration information is shown, disconnect from the OBDII plug and
reconnect after 5 seconds. When you come to the screen again, the code should be
available.
When first programming the vehicle, take a minute to write down you HEX file in
the provided table on page (6) of the manual, this will be useful if you ever need to
contact Edge Products Technical support.
12. After pressing [ENTER], the main display will come up.
