3 Introduction
CS208-3G Integrated Reader Features:
• Intelligent Integrated Reader with embedded edge server
• 3G/GSM/GPRS, SMS, Ethernet, USB and Serial
• Multiple choices of edge servers with intelligent event engine, and with APIs ranging
from high level HTTP to C# to low level C, are available
• Ruggedized (MIL-STD-810) integrated reader with long read range
• Dense Reader Mode (DRM) available
• Unique offering: choice of Left Hand Circular Polarization or Right Hand Circular
Polarization for dock door implementation

CS208-3G is used to track vehicles or pallets or human workers passing by a road. Since the CS208-3G
cannot be in the way blocking the vehicle or pallets and workers, therefore it is always placed high up and on
the side and looking down. The minimum distance is 1 meter, and the average distance is 2 meters away from
any human being.
