Battery Connection Diagram
Connect six wires to the gate operator as shown. Install batteries as show, observing polarity:
Four 14 gauge wires to the control circuit. Always connect red wires to (+) and black wires to (-). The exception is
Connect from lug terminals to DC motor: the jumper wire which connects the two batteries.
Two 6 gauge minimum for 1hp operators
Two 2 gauge minimum for 2hp operators
