There are a number of ways to communicate with the 1812 Access Plus via a network connection. Before any programming can
be attempted, you need to install the 1812 programming software on the computer you want to use for this purpose. The
computer must have a network card installed. Follow the instructions in the 1812 programming software help guide and refer to
section 2.3 for setup information.
Using a network connection, you can connect to the 1812 Access Plus in one of four different ways:
Locally with a direct connection from the computer to the 1812 Access Plus using a commercially available crossover cable.
