Introduction

This installation guide shows how to install the T4 touchscreen power

box (sometimes called the “mid-box”). The power box is the physical

interface between the touch screen and the wall box.

Installation Requirements Network • If using Ethernet: Ethernet network installed and available that includes a gateway/router/switch. One Ethernet Cat 5/6 cable that runs from the Ethernet gateway/router/switch to the Ethernet connection in the touchscreen’s wall box. • If using Wi-Fi: Wireless network (IEEE 802.11b/g/n) installed and available with a wireless access point (AP). Security can be WEP, WPA/WPA2 PSK, 801.1x EAP, or PEAP.

Make sure the location is within distance of your Wi-Fi signal. (Figure 5). Attach the power box and touchscreen Additional resources To install the power box into the wall box: The following resources are available for additional support. 1 Align and bend the wires to fit them inside the wall box. 2 Slide the power box into the wall box, then secure the power box to the wall box using the two screws provided (Figure 6).
