2 Navigators Overview
In this chapter, you’ll discover the user Navigators and learn about the
System Remote Control devices.
NOTE: You may not have purchased all of the Navigator types
listed below.
A user Navigator (Navigator) is any Control4 device you use to control
your Control4-installed Home-Automation System devices, such as a
System Remote Control or a Touch Screen.
In this document, user Navigators are referred to as Navigators. You
can own a Navigator to manage the devices for every room in your
house. For example, the Kitchen may have a 10.5” In-Wall Touch
Screen, the Theater may have a 7” In-Wall Touch Screen and a System
Remote Control, the Master Bedroom may have a 7” Table Top Touch
Screen or an LCD Keypad.
Below is a breakdown of all of the Navigator models you may have to
control your Control4 system.
On-Screen (viewable on a TV screen)

Navigator Devices
There are two (2) different general types of Navigation devices: On-
Screen Navigators and List Navigators.
On-Screen Navigators—These include On-Screen through a
TV and Touch Screens.
