7. Change the on/off settings as indicated in the next figure under the ‘Pool’ example.

Note: Jandy settings have three (3) states: Off (Black), Enable (unless pump is running), and Active

(heat is activated). Pentair has two (2) settings: Off and On. See your manufacturer's documentation

for details.

Important! To avoid overheating of the unit, the pump always starts running before the heater

engages, and the heater turns off before the pump stops running.
