5. Bayer HealthCare makes no warranty of the performance of the

ONTOUR
®
meter or test results when used with any control
solution other than C
ONTOUR control solution.
BAYER HEALTHCARE MAKES NO OTHER EXPRESS WAR-
RANTY FOR THIS PRODUCT. THE OPTION OF REPLACE-
MENT, DESCRIBED ABOVE, IS BAYER HEALTHCARE’S ONLY
OBLIGATION UNDER THIS WARRANTY.
IN NO EVENT SHALL BAYER BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT,
SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, EVEN IF BAYER
HEALTHCARE HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF
SUCH DAMAGES.
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or
consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may
not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and
you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

Service Department of Bayer Diabetes Care, by calling toll free
1-800-348-8100, for assistance and/or instructions for obtaining
service of this instrument.
