Following the Ascensia CONTOUR System assays, a blood

sample was collected for comparative laboratory glucose and

hematocrit determinations. The glucose concentration of the

samples from the two sites ranged from 31 to 420 mg/dL

with an average of 182 mg/dL. The range of hematocrits was

28 to 55% with an average of 44%.
